Fall Youth Conference

100+ Filipino youth delegates and leaders gathered at the SG Fall Youth Conference on Oct. 11 at Leeward Community College on Oahu.
In large groups, they learned and participated in baybayin (an ancient Philippine script), an Ilocano folk dance entitled “Dungdungwenkanto,” escrima (a Filipino martial art), and heart-pumping energizers.
In their barangay groups (small groups), they collaborated on a barangay name and reflected on their values, interests, achievements, and future goals.
They did it all to celebrate Filipino-American History Month in Hawaii!
